Anna Mae Beste, 78


Anna Mae Beste of Kimball died peacefully Jan. 9, 2022, at Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center in Litchfield. She was 78.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a private ceremony. She will be buried at Saint Anne Cemetery in Kimball.
Anna Mae was born Feb. 26, 1943, in Freeport, Minn., to Edmond and Elizabeth (Wiechmann) Mohr. She enjoyed reading, listening to music, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family. She was fun-loving, kind, generous, faithful, and honest. She was a positive person who always saw the good in everyone. She was loved and cherished by many, especially her family.
Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, and brother.
She is survived by her children Susan (and Mark) Bartlett, Paul (and Gloria) Beste, Elaine (and Lynn) Chatwin, and Julie Beste (and fiancé Steve Butcher); six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; siblings Marge, Monica and Mike; sister-in-law Ann; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family wishes to express their thanks to the loving staff at Meeker Manor Rehabilitation Center. Arrangements are with Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins.
