Food & Wine Festival

The Minnesota Food & Wine Festival at Carlos Creek Winery at Alexandria will be held Friday-Sunday, Sept. 7-9, featuring the annual “grape stomp.” There will be a wine and cheese reception with live music beginning at 6 p.m. Friday; musical groups will play everything from bluegrass to classic rock and roll. Cheer on your favorite “grape stompers” at the grape stomp competitions from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.   Saturday and noon-5 p.m. Sunday, Two people are needed for stomping – one grape stomper and one juice collector ($20 per two-person team; advance registration suggested).
