More than a dozen volunteers gathered in the northeast corner of Kimball to install playground equipment in the Heritage Park development.
Members of the Kimball Lions, Kimball Fire & Rescue, and several community kids came out to help assemble and install the playground which will be cemented in place at a later date.
Although there was some frustration on the part of the volunteer workers (for instance, the pieces were in various colors, but the instructions were in black-and-white), everyone pitched in to do what they could do. Developer Tom Crouch (pictured at far left) was on hand to pass out cookies.
