The Cokato Historical Society presents ?ÄúMinnesota Twins Memories,?Äù featuring Clyde Doepner, Team Curator for the Minnesota Twins Baseball Club
7 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at Cokato City Hall.
Since he was a teenager, during the inaugural season of the Twins in 1961, Doepner has collected Twins memorabilia. What began as a teen hobby has grown into one of the most extensive collections of team memorabilia in major league baseball. Doepner?Äôs presentation will include many stories and examples of Twins items he has collected over decades. He will also bring copies to sell of his 2014 book, ?ÄúMinnesota Twins Through Memorabilia.?Äù A short documentary about Doepner and his work can be found on Youtube under ?ÄúThe Curator.?Äù
This program is free and open to the public. A brief business meeting of the Cokato Historical Society will precede Doepner?Äôs presentation.
