Colleen K. Jacobson died on Friday, May 3, 2002, at her home in South Haven. She was 48 years old.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale with Rev. David Doppenberg officiating. Friends called from 4-8 p.m. Monday, May 6, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale, and one hour prior to services at the church. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral chapel.
Colleen Kaye Jacobson was born Feb. 5, 1954, in Minneapolis to Thomas and Ruth (Sorg) Clark. She married Terrance D. Jacobson in Wayzata on Oct. 26, 1974. She has lived in South Haven for the past 24 years, and lived in northeast Minneapolis previous to that. She worked as a special education paraprofessional at Bendix Elementary School in Annandale for the past 15 years.
Colleen was an accomplished Native American and wildlife artist, and enjoyed being active in breeding, raising, boarding and riding horses.
She was preceded in death by her father Thomas Clark.
She is survived by her husband Terrance of South Haven; her sons Zachary, Ezra and Terry, all of South Haven; her mother Ruth Clark of Plymouth; brother Patrick Clark of Blaine; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends.
Pallbearers were Zachary, Ezra, Terry, Dewey and Jay Jacobson, and Patrick and Ryan Clark. Orma Lou Jacobsma was organist, and Mark and Ardis Nelson were the vocalists.
Arrangements were by Ding-mann Funeral Care in Annandale.
