4-H Project Bowl challenges teams of three to six youth to test their knowledge on a variety of topics including dairy, dog, general livestock, horse, llama/alpaca, plant science, poultry, and rabbit. Meeker County 4-H had two teams that competed at the Redwood Falls Regional Project Bowl contest on March 29.
Dairy intermediate team members included:
• Jacob Ahlgren, Litchfield Satellites
• Olivia Ahlgren, Litchfield Satellites
• Grace Schafer, Litchfield Satellites
They received second place in the regional contest, and will compete in the state contest April 12 in Sauk Rapids. The team is coached by Jim Salfer.
Dairy junior team members included:
• Henry Ahlgren, Litchfield Satellites
• Tanner Rusch, Litchfield Satellites
• Norah Ahlgren, Litchfield Satellites
• Adeline Stenger, Valley Victors
They received first place in the regional contest, and will compete in the state contest on April 12 in Sauk Rapids. The team is coached by Jim Salfer.
