All four choirs of the SJBC, including the newest Training Choir, will be featured in the concert in various combinations. Associate Artistic Director Matt Kiminski is excited to conduct the youngest singers of the organization: “This spring’s Training Choir is so enthusiastic and hardworking; I look forward to sharing their growth since February, and then sending them on to the JV Choir next season and watching them grow even more.”
Repertoire includes SJBC favorites like Jake Runestad’s “Dereva Ni Mungu,” Jim Papoulis’ “Can You Hear,” and Keith Hampton’s “Praise His Holy Name,” as well as newer selections like Sarah Quartel’s “Sing, My Child” and Rollo Dilworth’s “I Sing Because I’m Happy.”
