Gary and Marlene Laudenbach of St. Cloud announce the engagement of their daughter Kaila to Eric Schmitt, son of Don and Bev Schmitt of Watkins. Kaila is a 2001 graduate of St. Cloud Technical High School. She is employed by St. Cloud School District as a special education paraprofessional. Eric is a 2002 graduate of Kimball Area High School and a 2004 graduate of Hennepin Technical College. He is currently employed as a full-time firefighter for the city of Bismarck, N.D. A July 28, 2007, wedding is planned.
