The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating several items stolen from Mies Equipment in Watkins during the early morning hours of Friday, Feb. 21. Items stolen were several ATVs, a company truck with tools and an enclosed snowmobile trailer, with a total value of approximately one hundred thousand dollars. The truck is described as a white 2000 Ford F350 dual pick-up with Minnesota License place YAM6361. The words “Mies” and “John Deere” are on both the driver and passenger side doors. There is a solid yellow stripe under a larger green stripe leading from the doors to the box. The words John Deere, including a John Deere logo, is on the box. The box lettering is green. The truck bed holds a large white utility tool box with several storage compartments on each side. The utility box contains numerous Snap-On tools, a welder and a portable air compressor. The utility box is open in the middle. The enclosed snowmobile trailer is a 20-foot Gull Wing. A diamond treading plate covers the bottom portion of the trailer on the front and back. The trailer is white with a large blue Polaris logo on both sides, with red sweeping checkers leading to the logo. Decals with the words “The way out” are located under the Polaris logo on either side. A yellow caution sticker, two red Polaris decals and a smaller version of the side logos are on the rear of the trailer. This combination is very rare. There is a two-inch dent on the left side of the trailer. The five Polaris ATVs taken were an olive green 2003 Sportsman 600; a sonic blue 2004 Sportsman 500 HO; an olive green 2004 Sportsman 500 HO; and two gray 2003 Predator 500s.
