2003 Beautify Kimball Winners are announced

The Beautify Kimball Contest held in conjunction with Kimball Days was a great success this year with a record 13 residential nominations. It was great to see the creativity, hard work and pride that so many nominees put into their properties. Judges Rose Borman, Sue Maus and Lana Vossen of the Bloomin’ Garden Friends, and contest coordinator Robin Dockery judged the properties Thursday, Aug. 7. Homeowner division winners o John and Sheri Gohman for overall Kimball area show place. o Myron and Betty Franke for most colorful and interesting yard. o Pat and Sharon Meyers for most improved home landscaping.  Commercial division winners o Cindy Stelten Daycare for most attractive landscaping. o Hair Do’s Family Hair Care for most improved.
