Eden Lake Township: Robert (Bob) Haag was voted as Supervisor, and Nick Thielen was voted Treasurer.
Fairhaven Township: 28 people voted. Steve Wills is Treasurer with 28 votes, and Tim Klein won with 18 votes as Supervisor.
Forest Prairie Township: Jeff Pauly the incumbent ran unopposed as Supervisor and was reelected for a 3-year term. Rosella Nistler the incumbent ran unopposed and was reelected to a 2-year term as Treasurer. The levy was set as follows: road & bridge $220,000, general fund $22,000, fire protection $50,000, 2016 Go Bond levy $50,000. Total levy was raised $50,000.
Kingston Township: despite several attempts, we were unable to obtain these results before press time.
Luxemburg Township: 19 people voted. Supervisor: incumbent Pete Hansen did not file, but two other residents did; Dan Tschumperlin of Eden Valley, defeated Steve Dockendorf of Watkins, 11-7. Treasurer: incumbent Jeff Theis of Watkins, running unopposed, re-elected with 14 votes and 1 write-in. 2018 levy: general revenue $22,000, road and bridge $95,400, fire fund $37,000, debt fund $64,100 (The Township has three debt obligations, two related to establishing the Chain of Lakes Fire District, and one for the 2011 Road project); capital fund $41,400 (this fund was created by the residents in 2016 to set aside funds for anticipated large road maintenance issues such as seal-coating). Total 2018 levy $259,900.
Lynden Township: Supervisor: 3-year term incumbent David L.
Johnson 42 votes, Dennis Niemi 37 votes. Treasurer: 2-year term, incumbent Daniel Torgersen 70 votes, Don Moeller 1 vote.
Maine Prairie Township: Eugene Deering Jr. was on the ballot and received 19 votes. Write-ins included: Keith Donnay 4 votes, John Wicker 19 votes, Dave Van Vleet 1 vote. There was a tie between Eugene Deering Jr. and John Wicker. The tie was determined by lot and John Wicker won the coin toss. The levy for 2018 was $627,300. The fund balances for 2018 are as follows: general $95,754, road & bridge $325,000, snow removal $75,000, blading $33,000, fire $86,000, and town hall $12,546.
Manannah Township: Manannah had a record 65 voters. Barb Hagemeier received 30 votes, Bridget Klein received 35 votes, Steve Schmitt received 59 votes, and write-in Jr. Becker received 1 vote. Levy was set at: road & bridge $120,000, general $30,000, fire $45,000.
