2023 Kimball Sno Daze

2023 Sno Daze is now on the books. It took place the last week of school at KAHS before the Holiday break.
The week included daily dress-up days: Monday was Christmas Morning (PJs), Tuesday Twin Day, Wednesday Christmas Cartoon Day, Thursday New Year’s Eve (or Dress Your Best Day). Friday of that week was part of the Kimball Schools’ Holiday break.
As usual, couple candidates for Sno Daze were put up by various student organizations. Various competitions took place during the week between the couples, and a coronation ceremony was held at the end of Thursday, Dec. 21, with a popular vote (cheering of the crowd) tipped the scales toward the couple crowned King and Queen: William Serbus and Paige Merten.
Wednesday’s activities included “Teacher Feud,” an obstacle course, activity fashion show, and door-decoration judging. Thursday activities included Lip Sync, Volleyball, and Coronation. Each club created a poster for the week, in addition to all the other activities they participated in.
2023 Kimball Sno Daze candidates (and their student organizations) were Caroline Meyer and Alex Kaiser (Art), Hope Weiman and Brooke Ochsendorf (Band), Maleah Loch and Andy Becker (Choir), Jordyn Theis and Alyssa Anderson (FFA), Maddi Groinus and Hunter Gebhardt (Knowledge Bowl), Paige Merten and William Serbus (National Honor Society), Daisie Pramann and Austin Decknatel (Student Government), Taylor Libbesmeier and Kati Zimmerman (Theatre), and Hannah Carlson and Hailey Schneider (Yearbook).
Congratulations to King William and Queen Paige, to all the 2023 contestants, and to everyone who participated in this year’s Sno Daze festivities.
