The 2005-2006 4-H Leaders Banquet took place at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 28, 2006, at the Melrose American Legion. There were 152 people in attendance at the banquet, which honored 4-H members, 4-H Volunteers, Friends of 4-H and Community Leaders. Awards and certificates of accomplishment were given to: first-year, five-year and 10-year members; five-year, 10-year, 15-year, 20-year and 35-year volunteers; Friends of 4-H Award, Carla Wolbeck of St. Joseph, and Ag Star Financial of Waite Park; Outstanding Leader Award, Rick Stanoch of Holdingford; Gold, Silver, and Bronze Donor Certificates; Graduate Certificates; Herdsmanship Awards; Premiere Showmanship Plaques; Outstanding Club Officers Certificates; Outstanding Youth Leader Minnesota Key Club Award; and Merit Club Award.
