The Central Minnesota Conference announced Academic All-Conference Awards last week. Among many gifted and talented student athletes throughout the Central Minnesota Conference were 10 Kimball area students, who not only represented themselves on the basketball court and wrestling mat, but in the classroom as well. Each sport was represented on the Academic All-Conference Team, which requires students to have a minimum 3.7 grade point average. From the girls’ basketball team: Felecia Menson, Kayla Kastanek, Paige Peglow, and Sarah Powell. The boys’ basketball team was represented by Jeff Hunt, Andy Dingmann, Matt Dingmann, Jeff Miller, and Sam Scheeler. Luke Schiefelbein represented the wrestling team. Each person consistantly demonstrated academic excellence, as well as athletic excellence throughout the year and were leaders among their team. Kyle Inforzato, KAHS Activities director
