Kimball Area High School’s third annual activities program will be held Friday, April 30, in the high school cafetorium. Social time is at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7 p.m. The night is to honor all those who participated in Minnesota State High School League activities throughout the year. Senior athletic awards will be announced, along with KAHS Central Minnesota Conference volunteer of the year, and retiring coaches. The featured speaker for the evening is Blake Elliot. Elliot played on the Division III national championship St. John’s University football team. He was also named the 2003 Gagliardi Award winner as the best football player in Division III. Elliot is a graduate of Melrose High School. The evening is co-sponsored by the Kimball Letterwinners, Kimball Wrestling Boosters, Kimball Sports Boosters, and the Kimball Band Boosters. A $1 charge is payable at the door.
