Adult CPR and first aid class offered

An adult CPR and first aid course will take place from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the American Red Cross, 1204 S. 7th St. in St. Cloud. Those in attendance will learn to care for victims age 8 and older. Focus areas include rescue breathing, CPR, choking, bleeding control, splinting, sudden illness, and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Those who complete the session will be certified in adult CPR (valid for one year) and in first aid (valid for three years). Class sizes are limited, and registration costs $45. To register, mail your check or money order to the American Red Cross, 1204 S. 7th St., St. Cloud, MN 56301. Indicate class number 17517, Adult CPR and First Aid. You may also register in person by stopping at the chapter office. Visa, American Express and MasterCard are accepted.
