All Star Game held at Pierz

Kimball basketball players participated in the second annual All Star Game held at Pierz March 31. The day started off with bowling, and Kimball was represented very well with Krystal Mackereth taking the girls’ bowling title with a 144 and Matt Dingmann taking the boys’ bowling title with a 166. Then the day moved to the girls All Star Game. Krystal Mackereth finished the game with two points, two rebounds and two assists Felicia Menson finished the game with 15 points and nine rebounds. Then it was time for the three-point shoot out. The team of Jeff Hunt and Krystal Mackereth finished third with 16 three-pointers made. That was followed by the slam dunk contest, where Adam Magnuson entertained the crowd with two very well done dunks. He had help from fellow team mate Matt Dingman. Adam finished second in that contest.  The day finished with the boys’ game. Jeff Hunt had 18 points, four rebounds, one assist and two steals. Matt Dingman added three rebounds and three steals and Adam Magnuson put in 15 points, eight rebounds, two assists, five steals and one block. The day was a great time and the participants from Kimball really represented the community well. Coach Nathan Schwieters
