The Powder Ridge ski racing team scored 75 points Saturday, and placed second of four teams competing at Welch Village. Highlights included: Mike Hilbert (age 6) first place, Jacob Powell (10) second, Leah Magnuson (12) first, Seth Elmquist (12) first, Laura Schleichert (13) first, Eric Elmquist (13) first, Riley Rice (13) second, Kelsey Schleichert (14) second, Chris Longtin (14) second, Laura Schultz (16) second, Eli Dean first, Nick Byram (17) second. Powder Ridge had top 10 finishers in each age group entered, and overall did very well for their first race of the season. The ski team next competes at Wild Mountain Jan. 24.
