The Annandale Co-op Ski Team will send one (Claire Tikkanen) to State competition at Giant Ridge Feb. 15.
The girls?Äô team placed fifth overall, with all six racers finishing with excellent individual results.
Boys also skied well at the 2017 Section 5 meet at Afton Alps Thursday, Feb. 9.
Girls?Äô results: Team points 256.0, rank 5th. Claire Tikkanen 74 points, Susanne Schneider 63 points, Rachael Boesen 60 points, Anne Boesen 59 points, and Isabel Wester 58 points. Individually, Claire Tikkanen ranked 11th in individual results from among the 84 competitors.

Orono girls took first place with 309.0 points, followed by Minnetonka, Brainerd, Breck, then Annandale.
Boys?Äô results: Team points 64.0, rank 13th. Tommy Becker 42 points, Riley Mattheisen, 12 points, and Kirkland Allen 10 points. 
Tommy Becker ranked 42nd among the 83 competitors.
Minnetonka boys took first place with 317.0 points, followed by Breck, Brainerd, Hopkins, and St. Cloud Breakaways.
