Annandale hosted a dual course race invitational Thursday, Jan. 19.
This is a combined Annandale/Maple Lake/Litchfield/St. Michael-Albertville/New London-Spicer/Kimball team.
Boys varsity team
Brainerd took first among the five boys?Äô teams with 94 points. Breakaways were second with 81 points. Annandale was third with 28 points. Herman/Norcross and Lakes Area had no score as they did not meet the team requirements (with only one and three skiers, respectively).
Boys individual
First Nathan Hilbert 42.63, second Andrew Backman 45.09, third Tristan Elsenpeter 45.63.
Toby Stumpf (Annan.) placed 18th with 57.33. His teammates ranked as follows: Tommy Becker 59.22 (21st), Riley Mattheisen 1:08.10 (22nd), Arthur Kjaer 1:10.96 (23rd), Kirkland Allen 1:17.90 (24th), and Sage Sparks 1:48.99 (25th).
Girls varsity team
The Annandale team placed first with a total of 122.0 points and 14 varsity skiers.
Breakaways took second with 115 points, and Brainerd took third with 113 points.
Girls individual
Annandale placements: Claire Tikkanen took second among the girls with 48.06. Rachael Boesen took fourth with 48.83. Suzanne Schneider seventh with 49.87. Anne Boesen ninth 50.82. Kaylee Mackenstad eleventh 51.32. Isabel Wester twelfth 51.58. Anika Norgren 21st 59.22. Megan Hendrickson 23rd 1:01.73. Emma Spike 26th 1:06.46. Vivien Weindl 29th 1:08.38. Faith Mader 31st 1:14.32. Noelle Scheer 33rd 1:23.15. Violet Sparks 34th 1:29.81.
First place was taken by Alex Stone with 44.23 (Brain.). Third place was by Grace McGuire (Brain.) with 48.28.
