Amylu Hall died Sunday, July 7, 2019, at her Watkins home. She was 58.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11, at Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins. Friends may call one hour prior to services Thursday at the funeral home. AmyLu Vanessa Minks was was born Sept. 13, 1960, in Litchfield to Lawrence and Virginia (Schmidt) Minks. She attended the Litchfield and Buffalo Lake area schools.
AmyLu was united in marriage to Terry Reck and together they had four children. She then married Ron Hall in Buffalo Lake. The Halls lived in North St. Paul where AmyLu worked at the Wonder Hostess Outlet Store and at Pilot gas station. She moved back to Litchfield for a short time and then lived in St. Joseph for about five years. She had lived in Watkins for the past seven years.
AmyLu enjoyed reading, word games, puzzles, and she was an avid Twins fan. She also enjoyed animals, especially horses.
AmyLu was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Tracy Minks.
She is survived by her children Sandy, David, Tara, and Elmer; sister LoriAnn (and Lenny) Dvorak of Litchfield; and brothers Wally Minks of St. Augusta and Larry Minks of California.
