Angeline Mausehund, 85

Angeline Mausehund of Richmond, formerly of Eden Valley died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her home. She was 85.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 10, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley with Rev. Bryan Hopfensperger officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Eden Valley, and one hour prior to the services Monday at the church. Burial will be at Manannah Union Cemetery in Manannah.

Angeline A. Mausehund was born July 9, 1928, in St. Cloud to Fred and Alvina (Haag) Hommerding. She married Frank Mausehund April 8, 1948, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley. Angeline was a homemaker who worked side by side with her husband farming until 1971, when they moved into Eden Valley. She moved to Richmond after becoming blind, to live with her niece Becky Peart and her family. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church where she was the organist for more than 40 years. She also played organ at Glorie Dei Lutheran Church in Cold Spring for many years. Angeline was a home interior decorator and an avid collector of angels. She spent many wonderful happy hours tending to her yard and beautiful flower gardens.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents; husband Frank Sept. 24, 2008; son Donald March 12, 1993; and brother Clifford Hommerding.

She is survived by her sister Shirley (and Maynard) Yungk of Eden Valley; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Eden Valley.
