Annandale Co-op Alpine Team raced Jan. 14

·

Annandale Co-op Alpine Team raced in the MLK Race at Giants Ridge Saturday, Jan. 14, with 20 team members competing. For many, this was the first time at Giants Ridge, a challenging course and multi-competitive teams. Overall, there were accomplished individual results and many members learned how to ski the courses and experience Giants Ridge.

?ÄúThis is an excellent opportunity to race at the hill where the state meet will be held in February,?Äù says Lori Rice, Head Coach. ?ÄúWith many donations to help the team travel to this race, it makes it possible to send our whole team up to the hill where the state meet will be held. All in all, I was really pleased with their results and the experience they gained on the hill.?Äù

Our season continues with a home race hosted by Annandale Co-op this week Thursday, Jan. 19, with the race starting at 5:30 p.m.
