Anne of Green Gables is a play about a young orphan who is very chatty and imaginative. An older, childless couple who are very quiet and old-fashioned are seeking a boy to help with the farm chores but because of a mix-up are sent a 10-year-old girl, Anne.
This play teaches acceptance, and learning by all parties. It will be held over Mother’s Day weekend to honor how a mother is made and a daughter is found. Adapted from the classic novel by L.M. Montgomery by Jody Johnston Davidson through Pioneer Drama Services.
