Annual Kimball ‘Clean Up Day’

The City of Kimball will hold its 12th annual “Clean Up Day” from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 5, in the A.M. Maus parking lot. Items that will be taken include: • Household hazardous waste – free. • Appliances: refrigerators, freezers, de-humidifiers, water heaters, range/stoves, washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, humidifiers and furnaces – there will be a charge of $13. • Air conditioners – charge of $23. • Small TVs – $15; large console TVs – $25. • Complete computer system – $25. • Individual computer piece – $8 each. • Used oil – free. • Oil filters (car) – 50 cents each. • Anti-freeze – $1. • There will be a dumpster for your use – the charge   will be $20 per pick-up load. (No hazardous waste may be put in dumpster.) • You may bring in batteries for a charge of $1 each. • You may bring in used car tires for a charge of $2.50 each. If you have more than 10 tires, you must call City Hall at (320) 398-2725 by Wednesday, May 2, to make arrangements. • Used clothing will be collected at the Kimball City Hall Saturday, May 5 – items will go to the Epilepsy Foundation. Please bring just clean and usable clothing.
