After 36 years of teaching music, and 33 years at Kimball, I have decided to retire. I?Äôm very sad to leave this place I have felt to be my home, and felt so at home with the teachers and students.
This decision has been very difficult for me. I will miss the thousands of students I have taught, and hundreds of concerts we had. I hope I taught children to love music as much as I do.
So, to whoever takes my place I wish all the luck in the world. Kimball has wonderful students who will make you feel at home as their new music teacher.
Thank you to all the students I?Äôve had over the years for making me the luckiest music teacher ever! I cannot imagine my life without the 33 years I?Äôve had in Kimball.
Please come to my final choir concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday,
May 8. The vocal prelude begins at 7 p.m. in the KAHS gym.
I?Äôm going to miss everyone, but it?Äôs time for me to go!
