A huge thank you goes out to John Arnold and Arnold?Äôs of Kimball Inc., for donating this utility vehicle to utilize at track meets and football games. The school will use the machine to move hurdles, pick up equipment, help with hauling softball/baseball equipment, and various jobs at the school. The machine has a perfectly-sized bed to move hurdles around the track during track meets.
During a track meet, for instance, 80 hurdles are needed for the 100-meter hurdle event which is the second event. We need to move the hurdles off the track and later return them to the track during the 300-meter event that is in the middle of the meet. The side-by-side machine will be of great use during a meet.
I am certain the school will find many other jobs for this ATV during the school year. The side-by-side has already been busy getting ready for our first track meet April 17.
