At 9:23 p.m. Monday, June 21, the Wright County Communications Center received a report of an assault and robbery which occured in Southside Township. Initial reports indicate that Jolene Shepherd, 19, of Annandale was working at Jimmy’s Pizza in Annandale when the business received a pizza delivery call to a new home construction site in Southside Township near the area of Lake Sylvia and Twin Lake. Upon arriving, Shepherd was restrained and bound with duct tape by two unidentified white males. The suspects stole a money bag with a small amount of cash from Shepherd and then fled the scene in her vehicle. Shepherd’s vehicle was recovered soon after the incident a short distance from the scene. One of the suspects is reported as a white male approximately 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a heavy build. He has short brown hair and was wearing a white T-shirt and shiny blue basketball shorts. The second suspect is a white male whose physical description remains incomplete at this time.
