Assumption Community recently unveiled the newest addition to their campus in Cold Spring. They will be breaking ground this fall on a memory care assisted living which will open in the spring of 2019. The assisted living will feature 28 single suites, divided into two neighborhoods. Each neighborhood will feature its own living and dining rooms. It will connect to Assumption Home to provide a continuum of care for residents. The center will be built on the western edge of campus along 8th Avenue North.
In 2016 a market analysis showed the growing demand for memory care in the ROCORI area. This demand will continue to grow as our older adult population increases. Assumption Community strives to meet the diverse care needs of our communities’ older adults and recognizes that specialized memory care is a service gap in our area. This new facility will allow ROCORI residents the ability to remain close to home and receive memory care under the direction of the trusted core values of Assumption Community: Respect, Community, Hospitality and Stewardship.
