We saw some frost over the weekend and earlier this week in parts of Minnesota. It always is a gamble this time of the year as the temperatures can range from the 80s and 90s for highs, to the 20s and 30s for overnight lows. Many people had to cover their plants or bring them inside earlier this week.
Rain also pushed into Minne-sota earlier this week which helped with some of the wildfire concerns in parts of the state. However, northern Minnesota continues to deal with wildfires despite some recent rain. The Jenkins Creek Fire, the largest of the wildfires burning in the state, is reportedly 0 percent contained at last check.
Some scattered rain can’t be ruled out early Wednesday, but then a drier airmass will settle into the state through the start of the weekend. Temperatures will be closer to average for this time of the year. Thankfully, no frost is in the forecast through this weekend. However, some rain will be possible late Sunday into early Monday.
