Weather: It was a beautiful day for Easter Sunday all across Minnesota. Parts of the state saw temperatures climb into the upper 60s.
Benson and Montevideo were the warm spots around the state, as they both hit a mild 69 degrees F on Sunday.
Kimball and St. Cloud were a very mild 64 degrees F on Sunday.
Even in parts of northern Minnesota, temperatures climbed into the lower 60s. Park Rapids was a mild 63 degrees F on Sunday!
Alexandria, Elbow Lake, and Morris all hit a pleasant 62 degrees F for high temperatures on Sunday.
Showers moved into Minnesota Monday night across most of the state. Temperatures were in the 40s across northern Minnesota on Tuesday to the lower 60s across southern Minnesota.
Monday night into Tuesday, parts of northern Minnesota even had a wintry mix of precipitation in the forecast. Certainly it isn?Äôt unusual for Minnesota to see some light snow during the month of April.
Our active weather pattern will continue on Wednesday. We will have a good likelihood of seeing some showers on Wednesday. Some light rain will be possible late Thursday as another system impacts the area.
Drier weather will arrive just in time for the weekend as high pressure moves back into the region for Friday. Temperatures will climb back into the low to mid 60s for much of the state of Minnesota by this weekend.
