Benefit run for challenged children

The 15th annual Motorcycle & Classic Car Run will take place Saturday, May 19, beginning at the Hutchinson Dairy Queen. Registration is from 8-10 a.m., with the run leaving at 10 a.m. The run will leave from the Hutchinson Dairy Queen and travel north on Highway 15, turning west on North High Drive. Stops include: Mies Outland in Watkins from approximately 11:15 a.m.-noon; Cokato Dairy Queen from approximately 12:40-1:30 p.m.; Glencoe Dairy Queen from approximately 2:30-3:15 p.m.; and returning to Library Square in Hutchinson at approximately 3:50 p.m. New this year is a meal that will be served from approximatley 4:30-6 p.m. in Library Square, with live music by Second Chance. All proceeds from the run benefit the Foundation for Challenged Children. The Foundation for Challenged Children is a group of volunteers whose mission is to provide for special needs of challenged children that insurance and governmental programs do not cover, such as learning and developmental tools and equipment.
