Bernadine Hennen of Marty (Pearl Lake) died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at the Assumption Home. She was 92.

Mass of Christian Burial was at 11 a.m. Monday, June 8, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Marty. Burial was in the Holy Cross Parish Cemetery.

Relatives and friends called after 4 p.m. Sunday and from9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday morning at the Wenner Funeral Home in Cold Spring. Parish prayers were at 7 p.m. Sunday evening at the Wenner Funeral Home.

Bernadine was born April 11, 1917, in Robbinsdale, Minn. to Edward and Catherine (Rausch) Rossman. She married Herbert Hennen Nov. 10, 1938, in St. Nicholas Church, St. Nicholas, Minn. Bernadine loved spending time with her family. She farmed along side her husband for 43 years near Kimball and was a homemaker. She was an avid Minnesota Twins fan, and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, baking, sewing and quilting. She was a member of Holy Cross Parish and the Christian Women.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Herbert; one grandchild, and one great-grandchild; three brothers, and two sisters.

Survivors include her loving children James (and Audrey) of Maple Lake, Charles (and Barb) of Rockville, Larry (and Jeanie) of St. Cloud, Roger (and Pat) of Sartell, Eldred (and Deb) of South Haven, Richard (and Karen) of Grey Eagle, Doris (and Dan) Voigt of Cold Spring, Wayne (and Janelle) of Clearwater; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren; and sisters Marie, Lucille, Isabelle, Erma, and Helen.
