Bill Jamerson presents “UP in the U.P.” May 16

·

They came from countries like Finland, Sweden, Croatia, and Italy, with little more than the shirt on their backs. They came for the American dream and found it in the iron range cities of the Upper Peninsula. With author/songwriter/filmmaker Bill Jamerson, journey back to the days of timber hoisters, powder monkeys, and muckmen. Songs about children being pasties to their dads, picking thimbleberries, Saturday night saunas, ski jumping, and more! Bill will be performing Tuesday, May 16, after lunch at the Kimball Senior Dining Center which is located in the St. Anne?Äôs Catholic Church cafeteria. Seniors who plan to eat at Senior Dining prior the performance should contact Rosalea at (320) 398-2211, Ext. 13, by Tuesday, May 9, to make a reservation. For all ages. A Legacy event.
