Stearns County Board of Adjustment

Notice is hereby given that the Stearns County Board of Adjustment, in and for the County of Stearns, will conduct a public hearing to consider variance applications on Thursday, August 26, 2021, in Room 1104, Stearns County Service Center, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park Minn., beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Public Hearings

To consider a request from Jack Schabel – Schabel Enterprises of Central MN on behalf of Scott Wilcox, Clearwater, Minn., from Section 6.2.1P. Table M of Stearns County Subsurface Sewage Treatment System Ordinance #422 to place a subsurface sewage tank and soil treatment area less than 150 feet from Long Lake, classified as Natural Environment. Said Ordinance requires subsurface sewage tanks and soil treatment areas to be placed a minimum 150 feet from lakes classified Natural Environment. Affected property: Lot 11, Lumley Addition, Section 8, T122N, R27W, Lynden Township. Property address: 18509 Dover Road, Clearwater, Minn.

You may submit written testimony by emailing him by 3 p.m. on the meeting date or by mail to the Environmental Services Department, Stearns County Service Center, 3301 County Road 138, Waite Park, MN 56387.

Comments received are not limited to those persons receiving this public hearing notice. If you know of any interested person, who for any reason has not received this notice, please inform them of this public hearing date.
