The meeting was called to order by Chair Kersten at 6:34 p.m. with the superintendent, and members Kersten, Kuechle, Laabs, Stenger and VanVleet present. The Pledge of Allegiance was said by all in attendance. The appointment process was reiterated to applicants and it was stated that the appointment of a new board member would take place at the August 10, 2004, meeting. Board conducted interviews with applicants, Tim Peglow at 6:35 p.m. and Creig Andreasen at 6:55 p.m., for the vacancy created because of Matt Serbus’ resignation. Board members asked follow-up questions of Mr. Peglow and Mr. Andreasen regarding their applications and asked additional questions that were not included on the application. Board discussion followed conclusion of interviews. Motion by Kuechle, seconded by VanVleet, to adjourn meeting at 7:55 p.m. Published in the Tri-County News August 19, 2004.
