Agriculture students were honored at the Agriculture Department Awards Banquet which was held at Ridgewater College Willmar Campus Monday, April 3. Students received awards for their participation in state and national Postsecondary Agriculture Students (PAS) contests. The state PAS contests were held in Marshall, Minn., in February, and the national contests were held in St. Louis, Mo., in March. Students were also recognized at the banquet for other academic achievements.
Jake Borman of Kimball, the son of Ed and Rose Borman, received the following award for state competition: Sixth Place Crops Specialist Team.
Tom Lochen of Kimball, the son of Dave and Jayne Lochen, received the following award for state competition: Sixth Place Crops Specialist Team.
