Tickets are on sale now for a FungusAmongus Players double-
feature: “Old Herbaceous” and “Foxfire.”
Kurt Schulz stars in “Old Herbaceous,” a one-man show
sprinkled with wisdom and humor. Expect storytelling at its finest from Herbert Pinnegar, lifelong gardener for an English manor house, as he shares lessons about life and caring for one another.
Director David Metcalf and returning cast members from last year’s acclaimed production will present a shortened version of “Foxfire.” This charming, poignant drama tells the story of an elderly widow in the Appalachian mountains, exploring the relationships between family members and their connection to the land. This production will be competing at MACT*Fest, a festival of one-hour plays put on by the Minnesota Association of Community Theatres, in March.
Performances will be held at the Dassel History Center. Performance dates are Fridays and Saturdays, Feb. 22 and 23 and March 1 and 2, at 7 p.m. and Sundays, Feb. 24 and March 3, at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online through the FungusAmongus website, www.fungusamongus
players.org or by calling the Dassel History Center at (320) 275-3077.
