The Kimball FFA Food Science Team competed at the National FFA Convention last week in Indiana. The team scored in the Bronze Division.
As individuals Abbey Schiefelbein ranked in the Gold Division and Grant Garding placed in the Silver Division. The team had to develop a popcorn snack and it consisted of popcorn, sunflower seeds, chocolate chunks, and dried cherries. Team members are Madi Truenow, Athena Capes, Abbey Schiefelbein, and Grant Garding.
