Saturday’s Beanbag Tournament was a success! The Kimball Baseball Association and Express would like to thank all who participated in the tournament. Sixty-six teams participated, with Preston Looman and Derrick Kunkel taking first place, and Brian Marquardt and Josh Winter taking second place. We would also like to thank everyone who donated equipment used for the tournament, and Fuzzy Bublitz for announcing the event. ********** I would like to thank the female Stearns County Sheriff’s deputy for her assistance at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 11. She was kind enough to follow me on my way home from work to make sure I made my turn off safely (the snowy weather made it both difficult to see the road, and the roads were extremely slippery).
