Registration now open
The Chain of Lakes Soccer Club is beginning its 21st season this coming fall, providing opportunities for youth to experience the world’s number one sport. Registration is now open. The club will be offering two co-ed teams, a Middle School team (grades 6-8), and a High School team (grades 9-12).
Past teams have included players from Eden Valley/Watkins, BBE, Kimball, New London-Spicer, Paynesville, as well as home-schooled students. The season runs from mid-August to mid-October. All practices and home games are played at Ampe Park in Paynesville, and practices are at night beginning Monday, Aug. 14. We are planning a 12-game schedule for the High School team, and a 10-game schedule for the Middle School team. The club also runs a team for grades 3-5. Registrations for this team must be made through Paynesville Community Education at paynesvillece.com or (320) 243-7570. Practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Ampe Park in Paynesville and begin Tuesday, Aug. 22.
