Christi Ann Benson Weigelt of Aitkin died on Dec. 16, 2002, at 46 years of age. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2003, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. Christi Ann was born on Aug. 24, 1956. She was preceded in death by her older brother Stephen. She is survived by her husband Dennis of Aitkin; son Adam Montour of Aitkin; stepsons Jesse and Joel Benson of Aitkin; parents Clifward and Charlotte Weigelt of South Haven; two grandchildren; sisters and brothers: Carla Austin of Champlin, Dean Weigelt of Brainerd, Veronica Weigelt of Brainerd, Anna (and Walter) Donnay of Andover, Barb Weigelt of Otsego, Butch Weigelt of South Haven; honorary sister-in-law Shelley John of Lake Shore; and 18 nieces and nephews. Eden has received her garden’s helper. There was not much our modern-day “flower child” couldn’t do. You will be missed, Christi Ann!
