St. John’s Lutheran Church’s annual Church Picnic will take place at 9:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 7, at Willow Creek Park. Worship service will be followed by Sunday School Rally Day activities and a pot luck picnic at 11 a.m. Beginning Sept. 14, St. John’s will offer two Sunday worship services, at 8 and 10:30 a.m., with Sunday school and adult Bible classes in-between. This schedule will continue throughout the school year. Also beginning Sept. 14, St. John’s will offer an overview of the Old Testament. Classes will meet at three different times; Sundays at 9:15 a.m., Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 9 a.m. Community members are welcome to attend.
