Music and Light Fest The “Tou-can Do Better Than One” Relay for Life team, comprised of members from St. Matthews United Church of Christ and Ostmark Lutheran Church is planning a music and light fest in late July. The evening of music, fellowship, refreshments and candlelight will begin at 8 p.m. Sunday, July 27, at Ostmark Lutheran Church. Those in attendance will enjoy a variety of music and will be invited to light a candle in honor or memory of someone who has fought cancer. The public is invited and encouraged to attend this music and light fest. A free-will offering will be collected to benefit the American Cancer Society. “Super Cool Underwater Bible Adventure” to be held at St. Gertrude’s From Sunday, Aug. 10 to Thursday, Aug. 14, St. Ger-trude’s Catholic Church in Forest City will hold a vacation Bible school for area children. Sessions will be from 6:30-8:45 p.m. each night. A $5 registration fee is required. The event is sponsored by Ostmark Lutheran Church and St. Matthew’s Church of Christ. Ascension Lutheran Church offers Vacation Bible School Ascension Lutheran Church will offer Vacation Bible School Saturday, Aug. 9.
