Cleo Parker of South Haven died peacefully Thursday, Oct. 18, 2018, surrounded by her close family and her best friend, Jim Paumen. She was 56.
Celebration of life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the Kimball American Legion Post 261.
Cleo Jean Bakken was born Oct. 28, 1961, in Park Rapids, Minn., to Ray and the late LaVon (DeGroat) Bakken. Cleo was just the adventurous young child as she was in passing. Her contagious laugh and genuine care for others will be greatly missed by many. She enjoyed life to its fullest from pulling traps to pulling on the one arm bandit. She greatly loved the outdoors from which she created beautiful crafts and reveled in her time spent with family and friends.
Cleo was preceded in death by her mother LaVon Bakken, and nephew Roman Bakken.
She is survived by her father Ray Bakken of Waubun, sons Shawn and (Tiffany) Parker of Kimball, and Joshua Parker of Litchfield; grandchildren Everett, Charlie, Ezra, Damion, and Jacob; siblings Debbie Bakken, Rhoda Bakken, and Robert and (Joanne) Bakken, all of Waubun; and her best friend Jim Paumen of South Haven, as well as an over abundance of nieces and nephews.
