Clippers hit more, still lose to Nicks

The game got off to a slow start Sunday afternoon, May 28, with Watkins scoring first, in the fifth. St. Nicholas responded with two, and continued to stay ahead. Final score was 4-1 for the Nicks.

TJ Frericks would take the loss for the Clippers, pitching 4.2 innings; Heath Kramer pitched relief. Travis Hansen earned the win for the Nicks, pitching all nine innings.

Clippers batting highlights: Dan Sargent scored the sole run in the game, including a double; he also stole two bases; Travis Linn earned two bases on two hits.
