Clippers trounce the Gussies

The Watkins Clippers traveled to St. Augusta to face the Gussies. The Clippers scored big early on, 9 of their 10 runs in just the first three innings. The Gussies answered back with a single run in the second, and took a pounding in a 10-1 loss on Sunday, May 14.

Matt Geislinger led the Clippers at bat, hitting a double and a pair of singles. Kevin Kramer hit a double for 3 RBI. Landon Neiman hit 4 singles, Linc Haugen hit 3, and Nolan Geislinger hit 2 on the day.

Matt Geislinger earned the win, pitching 3.2 innings. He allowed 3 hits, and struck out 3. Dustin Kramer pitched 4 innings; he struck out 4.

Travis Laudenbach pitched the whole game and takes the loss. He allowed 17 hits for 10 runs, walked 1, and struck out 5.
