‘Cokato collects more’ exhibit

·

Back by popular demand, the Cokato Historical Society is pleased to announce that they will again host an exhibition of people collections, appropriately titled, “Cokato Collects More.” The exhibit opens July 7 and will allow people to show off their unique collectibles and demonstrate the diversity of collecting in our community. People like to collect. It’s part of human nature. The museum is interested in showing off your collection of 10 or more items in this exhibit. Coins, postcards, pottery, masks, bottles, license plates, comics, and toys are just a few of the popular categories of collectibles. Children are especially welcome to share what they collect. This exhibit is for everyone in the community and beyond. All collectibles loaned for this exhibition can be displayed in locked, secure cases. If you would like to display a collection, or if you have questions or comments, contact the museum by calling (320) 286-2427 or via e-mail at cokatomuseum@cmgate.com. The Cokato Museum is a cooperative effort of the City of Cokato and the Cokato Historical Society.
