Colleen Kuechle of Watkins died Friday, June 27, 2003, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 62. Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, June 30, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Watkins, with Rev. John Brunner officiating. Interment in the parish cemetery followed the service. Visitation was from 4-9 p.m. Sunday and from 8-10 a.m. Monday at the Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins. Colleen M. Kuechle was born March 29, 1941, to Vincent and Viola (Fobbe) Demarais of Maple Lake. She married Richard Kuechle July 13, 1963, at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in Maple Lake. She was employed by Manhattan Toys in Eden Valley. Colleen was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. She enjoyed traveling and camping, raising flowers and playing cards. Colleen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Richard Kuechle of Watkins; her children Kim (and Mike) Goelz of Maple Lake, Ken (and Dawn) Kuechle of Kimball, Kelly (and Terry) McNamara of Litchfield, and Kathy (and Mike) Klein of Richmond; 13 grandchildren; and her sister Doris (and John) Anderson of Maple Lake. Casket bearers were Duane Becker, Jim Stelton, Tom Landwehr, Mike Klein, Terry McNamara and Mike Goelz.
