March 30 was her last day working at Powder Ridge, but owners Lane Anderson (left) and Jerry Wahlin (right) threw a celebration for her Saturday afternoon, April 8, at ?Ķ where else? ?Ķ Powder Ridge. Hundreds showed up from near and far to bid her well in the next chapter of her life: retirement. She plans to pick up and travel with husband Jerry, whenever they want, without the restrictions of a job. They?Äôre not moving away, just going to do more visiting when they so wish.
